Message muffler being used in a system for a Z that is not made correctly for turbo applications.
For a turbo application you want a straight through design to allow the most flow and least back pressure.
To reduce sound level without restriction, you use a perforated core and a tightly packed muffler can that all other systems for the Z use except the B&B.
The B&B uses a chambered design muffler that creates back pressure, and that works well in Normally aspirated applications.
Chambered designs mufflers are more like amplifiers, rather than mufflers. I believe flowmaster was one of the first with a chamber design.
The B&B is the loudest design on the market for the Z and is second to the most restrictive on the market for the Z.
The Most restrictive on the market is the Borla because it is only 2.25".
